This report in the Chronicle reckons Fabio Capello is impressed with Andy Carroll and could give him an England opportunity in the near future. I dont think he is good enough at this point and would be shocked if he was considered for England - but who knows for the future.

well he scored a few goals for the u-21's and he's only really just started with them, but the full England Team is a bit much for him right now

Garbage press, this is the sort of headline that will hinder his development and distract him. His head is big enough without linking him with the England first team.

I hope Hughton and and club captian Butt tell him (in the right way) not to let his be turned by crap press like that.

Lee Ryder  ....used to go to my school, when I found out he was writing for the Chronicle I was astonished...and by the way he was always a Liverpool fan and probably still is.

This just made me laugh . Now i do rate Carroll as a usefull player for us at the moment but that's going way to far into fantasy land . All he has is potential and has to do his talking on the pitch

If he ever plays for England I'll wear a Borat mankini to his debut.  It just aint gonna happen.  He has the first touch of a wall and misses too many sitters.

Has potential and could be a class act for us but never England material.
