Doubt it.
An average Scottish team or an exciting in-form top of the league English club with a very likely possibility of top flight football next season?

It's a hard one
In Rafa we trust

The Scottish option wins then!

I would advise him to work with Rafa for a few more years, he could learn so much, he's only 30 he has plenty of time to be a manager at some point

I would imagine he will take it as it is a great opportunity for a coach of his age. I can see the logic of staying on and learning from Rafa but decent job opportunities for assistants do not crop up that often and it seems pretty rare for assistant managers to actually replace EPL managers, other than in the caretaker role.

i reckon 40ish is about the best age to become a manager, obviously howe is the exception to the rule, I think he was 32 when given the top job at bournemouth (clever sh*te), mourinho wanted Karanka to be his assistant on his returning to Chelski but advised him that at 40 he was good enough to be a manager if he wanted, so he took the boro job instead, If Cathro feels he's good enough then good luck to him.

Good luck to Ian Cathro. Might have learned a bit more from Rafa but Hearts is a good offer for a coach in his position

Sacked after 7 months  :suicide:

"A Hearts statement read: "The board wishes it to be known that this was a very difficult decision, reluctantly made, as every member of the board recognises Ian is an extremely talented young coach with a very bright future. "

Then why you fookin sacking him for then??

He had a poor record. There are no two ways about it.
