I'd love to see the stats for Joselu for the exact things you mentioned there.

Too right, Joselu is no answer either. Not sure what he brings to the team.

Against Forest in the cup in his only run out this year, Mitro was all over the place harrying defenders and causing havoc. So he can do it. I suspect Rafa thinks Mitro doesn't do enough for the team, his disciplinary record is way overstated.

Mitro: 68 apps (3714mins - 41.3 games), 17 goals, 10 assists, 8 yellows, 2 reds & an additional 3 match ban.

#nufc have certainly looked at Cenk Tosun but reports that Mitrovic has been offered in swap deal+cash aren't true. As we reported yesterday NUFC won't sell Mitro if it isn't right for them

Rafa on today's press conference :

"If you want to sign a striker who'll score 20 goals, you must pay 40M.
If you sign an average striker, it's 15M, or 10M if they can kick it forward"

Meaning he considers Joselu as rubbish (5M).
And following his own logic, it does also mean that Mitro is average.
Yet, he plays the rubbish one  :?

I honestly believe this is a mistake but it's done now. Shame.

Totally agree he will get regular football elsewhere and score goals aswell in my opinion.

The best he can hope for is a second tier Euro league, and working his way back up to a Belgium, Holland or maybe even mid table France in time for the Qatar world cup.

He'll sign for someone like Fiorentina or Wolfsburg and hit 10 before the seasons out
