Around the grounds - other teams games
« on: August 12, 2017, 06:00:58 PM »
Brilliant start for Huddersfield today. A 0-3 away win at Crystal Palace. It means at least for now, they are topping the Premier League table.

And kudos as well to Burnley for beating Chelski 2-3

In the "pub league" ( ? Sunderland) Villa lost 3-0.

And a special mention to TT & LTT's hometown club Rotherham for a 5-0 win.

A strong Palace team played a friendly against Merstham where I live. They only just beat them 3-2 so not that surprised they lost today. Merstham play in the Rymans Premier league decent standard but I didn't expect them to give Palace such a close game.

Watching the Forest Brentford highlights right now and bloody hell, that Bouchalakis has scored two astonishing goals. If you aren't watching you should check them out online.

I see Jamie Coppinger is still playing at 36. He scored for Doncaster in their win over Blackburn who seem to be doing their level best to race eventually to the very bottom of the Football League. That last goal they conceded was absolutely comical.

Manchester United looked scary good yesterday, reckon they could quite easily take the title. Don't know if it was just how bad West Ham were but United never looked like they were trying and still ripped them to shreds.

Them last two United goals were so easy, like it was almost as if West Ham weren't there..

Also, glad we didn't get Hart, the last two goals were so savable...

Joe Hart is absolutely rancid. He has no redeeming features to his game, his stock would be nowhere near as high if he wasn't English.
