On the first day of Christmas
my true love sent to me:
300 mill to buy-out Ash-ley

On the second day of Christmas
my true love sent to me:
eleven new players
and 300 mill to buy-out Ash-ley

On the third day of Christmas
my true love sent to me:
a huge investment on
eleven new players
and 300 mill to buy-out Ash-ley

On the fourth day of Christmas
my true love sent to me:
a more ambitious plan,
a huge investment on
eleven new players
and 300 mill to buy-out Ash-ley

On the fifth day of Christmas
my true love sent to me:
AM-AND-A STA-VEL-EYYYY,
a more ambitious plan,
a huge investment on
eleven new players,
and 300 mill to buy-out Ash-leyyyy
Never stop fighting for what you believe in.

Hopefully this papertalk will get resolved sooner , rather than later. The current predicament surely puts to an end the crap talked by certain pundits,,,mainly Southern based and mainly on Sky, with the opinion that Ashley saved Newcastle , and that without him the club would have been in freefall. In reality he has invested virtually zero[ he did claim he would invest 30m per season]..the club he took over flirted regularly with European soccer and some of the best teams in Europe were visitors in top flight games. He has had the club relegated twice , and if he leaves, the clubs will be in the relegation zone once again on his departure. He has fleeced free advertising from the club , and controlled the merchandise sales, plus sold land adjacent to the Gallowgate for 60m...in short he has sucked the club dry ,and would rather spend a million on the turn of a card in a casino than invest in NUFC..Please go you fat ugly b@st@rd.
If you could have Bill Gates wealth ,or could feed all the hungry in Africa...what color Ferarri would you have?

they are discussing a provisional offer now meaning a price can be agreed at the end of season..this takeover is doing more harm than good this season. With our track record of luck we,ll be in the championship again with a 2nd tier manager.Am i just a pessemist or do we know its all going to end badly

He's just soooo desperate to sell of course.

if the owner wasn't such a w**ker it would have been settled by now.
he's bloody lucky pcp are still interested, given how relegation is more likely than not.
were down if January is under Ashley and that should be a deal-breaker.
everyone wins if it gets done now, everyone loses if not - unfortunately its Ashley doing the deciding.

It looks to me as though everything's on hold until the.season ends.
PCP will have more clarity on the business valuation, whether we are still a PL club or not.
I can't see PCP investing in January in a business they don't own with no guarantee that these investments will guarantee PL survival.

Is it just a coincidence that our free fall started when the Takeover was announced? Did most players get the impression that after the sale, they would be shown the doors marked 'EXIT'?

If anything, it should have made them raise their game, to secure their futures going forward under Rafa. Downing tools, just accelerates their own exit.

to be honest, we were crap even before the announcement, bailed out by an easier section of the fixture list. We only beat Stoke (who are having a mare this season), Swansea (who are bottom), and Palace (who at that point in time, were bottom and looked doomed).

I for one am hoping the deal is done as soon as possible, pref before the close of the Jan transfer window. We'll only be going down again if things stay the same. Come on Ashley, fu(king sell.
