Was watching soccer Saturday yesterday and when they were talking about us - Merson chipped on with we only have the points he would expect us to have.

Really??? Well looked at his predictions so far this season:-
Spurs - lose 3-0
Huddersfield - draw 1-1
West Ham - lose 2-0
Swansea - lose 2-0
Stoke - draw 1-1

So in fact Paul you expected us to have 2 points not 9

They talk so much sh*** on that show contradicting themselves week in week out
Merson talks so much s*** they should have toilet roll holder drilled into side of his face
He's not the only one of course and not the only anti-NUFC LeTissier's a tosspot who also vomits up crap, especially his attitude towards us. He's ALWAYS had negatives against us why I haven't a clue. He'll not know either - but that also applies to 90% of national football journalists. I remember readinmg the gobsmacking moronic excuses for his Newcastle hatred coming from an Express football writer called Jim White (no not the Scottish one on Sky) and his excuses for being a Man U fan since NOT coming from Manchester
The rest on Sky & BBC aren't exactly fonts of knowledge on football.
Those reporting on individual matches are the fine examples of ex-footballers basic stupidity and low IQ's

Phil Thompson is by far the best of a very bad bunch

Heard he's making a publicity stunt for cash errr i mean a comeback for a non-league team.
I'd just like to say - break a leg (or both) Merse.

Around the 35 second mark the caller calls Merson "a degenerate crackhead" You can hear sniggering in the backround and the presenter takes about ten seconds to comprehend what he's just heard.

yes i do know what you mean, and the fact he doesnt even mention us in his match preview, all about palace  drunken facker  :suicide:

Newcastle v Crystal Palace (Saturday 3pm)

What a result for Palace against Chelsea, and it just shows you how important and good Wilfried Zaha is, how big a player he is in that side.

This is another big, big game, and I can't really separate them. You like to think Palace have turned the corner, but if they lose this they are virtually back to where they were the week before the Chelsea game, because they would have highlighted this game as a potential three points.

If they can get a draw, it's been a great couple weekends for Palace.

PAUL PREDICTS: 1-1
