Starting line-up in February

You're allowed to pick 18 new players and I know 500million has been bandied about but I'm only gonna allow a kitty of 490m as we'll probably have to do a bung deal with someone Graeme Souness knows to get shot of Mitrovic.

 :)

She's buying Liverpool man. Ashley will still be here in February

She's not, man. She's hates Liverpool. She once glued Kenny Dalglish's front door shut.

She's sorting us out with a Saudi prince. We'll be breaking the FFP rules left, right and centre and then we'll pay Blatter and Platini to stop whinging.

Could be the same as tonights - minus Gayle and Mitrovic.

if he doesn't sell this time its game over, nobody will even deal with him again, lying, goal-post moving, dipso c**t

Reina - cut-price as out of contract in summer
Dummett - or someone else, struggling to think of ideas but there will be someone out there
Lejeune
Lascelles
Yedlin
Seri - highly rated Nice defensive mid, another option is Salif Sane - best rated DM in europe this season
Shelvey/Merino
Ritchie
Malcom - from Bordeaux, looks absolutely class
Aarons/Atsu
Mitrovic
Alan Pardew: “It was all good up until when it kicked off.”

doubt the club will be sold before the window, even if it is, doubtful to be any major incomings in January. Club would be in the media's sights with huge coverage, so if we went sniffing around for players, there prices would go up even more than what they are now. most of the action will happen next summer, when hopefully rafa can bring in the required quality, so we can transition away from this defensive first policy.

Aiming to sell soon gives Mike the perfect excuse not to consider investment in the interim; I'd be very surprised if the sale process doesn't extend past Christmas, and I think that's likely to be exactly what he's doing.

May be proven wrong but frankly, expecting a tight clown like him to be happy with the deal, signed on the dotted line and new money released all inside eight weeks looks ridiculously ambitious. And you don't exactly add assets to a company if you're looking to sell.

I think he wants out but needs a reason not to spend any more money beforehand, and this is it.

I see this happening.

He wouldn't pull the plug altogether on the pretence it wasn't completed by Christmas would he?
well he would, but how likely?

nobody's giving a start to Joselu, the other two forwards are out of favour and would be sold in a flash if someone came in for them. First name on the sheet, unfortunately.
