West Ham v Newcastle United FC 23/12/17
« on: December 17, 2017, 03:28:31 PM »
As the games tick off and we sleepwalk to relegation yet many see January as our saviour , well it could be too late, we need point/points an it needs to be now.

lose this and we could be bottom/will be bottom at xmas and we all know that usually means relegation.

a win against the Hammers and we are in with a chance

lose and i think we will never get out of this, again  :nonono:

i'd go like this ..................

Elliot
Dummett
Lascelles
Clark
Manquillo
Merino
Shelvey* make it Hayden
Ritchie
Atsu
Perez
Ritchie

pointless picking Mitro, we need to have a go.

Isn't Shelvey suspended? West Ham have turned the corner and will be up for this but I fancy us to nick this 2-1. I maybe living in cuckoo land but I do feel we are due a slice of good fortune and an early Christmas present would be very welcome!
Hello hello we are the Geordie boys.

A draw is the minimum requirement.
A win would ease the pressure a bit.

We need to stop the rot at some stage and if we can't pick up points in those types of games, then it's prettty much over I'm afraid.

Will get beat again because Rafa doesn't learn.

In any case i'd go with:

Elliot
Yedlin Lascelles Clark Dummett
Hayden Merino
Atsu Perez/Gayle Aarons
Mitro/Gayle
Alan Pardew: “It was all good up until when it kicked off.”

This is a must win game otherwise we wont get out the bottom 3 and remember guys rafa wants 20 mill in january haha you really think 20 mill will keep us up not a hope in hell, need 100 mill minimum dont forget murphy was like 12 mill and hes sh*** so whats 20 mill going to get us?

                                           Elliot
            Yedlin       Lejeune             Lascelles      Manquillo

                                          Merino

            Aarons                                                       Atsu

                                          Ritchie

                            Gayle                    Mitro

Before yous say im not a mitro lover i dont like mitro but lets face facts here,he is better than joselu yet stubborn rafa consists with starting him week in week out trying to justify why he bought him because hes stubborn.

Rafa read this "Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results" time to change

A 1 man centre midfield????
with ritchie dropping back in when they have the ball and aarons and atsu tucking in a touch and making it narrow as west ham dont really go down the wings

The defensive midfielder being poor and Ritchie/Atsu tucking in/getting sucked in is what has caused Yedlin to be exposed of late, watch the other teams' attacks
Alan Pardew: “It was all good up until when it kicked off.”

When you think though Benitez could go 10 games without a win,  :suicide: in fact 11 games with Citeh up next,  :suicide: :suicide: when Carver was without a win in 10 we were seething, we wanted his head on a pole  how times and circumstances change.

If we play open, we will definitely lose. I'd go with the same team as at Arsenal. May still lose but at least a chance of a positive result.

West Ham played pretty much a second string in the Cup. They want the win on Saturday more.
