deffy, if this is you proving to me that you do actually have an interest in football then you win, some very good insightful posting recently and spending a lot of time in the club section, keep it up it's miles better than star wars and telescopes lad.

Chances are I was at my first game before you were born. 74 fa cup final. Season ticket holder from first starting work till end of Ashleys 2nd season when I swore I wouldnt go back till he was gone.

Last time Rafa fielded a brave "give it a go" team/mentality?
I was at Bournemouth, Leicester and Watford when we definitely 'gave it a go'. Not exactly Keegan style all out attack but certainly very attacking. We got outplayed each time, but it was entertaining for sure. We had a pretty good go at Chelsea and ManU and went down to gallant defeats. To be fair, we nearly snatched it at WBA, but that was after going 2 down against a team that scores 0.7 goals per game. That's how it looked to me. Others may have a different view.

It looks like Stoke are going to be well up for it. Happy Mark Hughes has basically bet his managerial position on this result with resting players and his media quotes. The Stoke fans are unhappy - pretty much like all teams in the bottom 10. Anything but a win and Hughes is out. So, it looks like Stoke will go for it and take the game to us.

This points to Rafa soaking up attacks and playing on the break. Atsu and probably Murphy to start for pace on the break. Hos and Gayle may start, but I'd expect them to drop into midfield when Stoke have the ball. ManQ may start instead of Dummett - he offers more pace on the break and was good at West Ham in that role

I was on about you being brave. Give having a bit of faith instead of negativity a go.
Point taken, but if it's another negative Rafa bore draw with no ambition, will you concede at all that he may be the wrong man for this job?

Better than Joselu upfront. Perez gets a goal and/or assist today.

Inferior players for him, but a lesser manager could maybe get more out of this team

But neither are a lot of brighton or huddersfield players, and lesser managers. But both out performing us at the moment.
You really are stubborn with your opinions arent you :)
