THE MIGHTY TOON v LITTLE LUTON
« on: January 06, 2018, 07:46:29 AM »
F.A. Cup 3rd round.
Saturday, 6th January, 2018.
Kick off: 3pm at St. James' Park.

Little Luton are bringing 7,500 fans to Tyneside for this cup tie (bless 'em), I'm sure most of them will be enjoying the many bars and raunchy nightlife of our beautiful city on Friday evening, a few pre-match shandies Saturday lunchtime before the highlight of the weekend, walking into our magnificent stadium which they have heard so much about, as they take their seat in the gods behind the Leazes goal and prepare for their team to have their arses handed to them, for now though they survey the scene with eyes like Bambi, totally in awe of the beauty and panache of one of the best stadums on the planet which makes Kenilworth road look like an old coal bunker.

I shoudn't really hazard a guess as to what side Benitez sends out against the League two leaders, to say NUFC have not been overly enthusiastic about these pesky cup competitions in the last ten seasons would be the understatement of the year, Ashley has treat them with the uttermost contempt and I cannot see anything changing this season, so I would predict this line-up if all fit:

WOODMAN

GAMEZ STERRY MBEMBA HAIDARA

SAIVET BARLASER

MURPHY DIAME AARONS

PEREZ

Hope you have an enjoyable weekend Luton fans, keep dreaming and maybe one day you will have a club as big as ours 🤣💪

Score prediction: 4-0

Important to keep our momentum going. Early goal and relaxed win would be nice for a change

strange selection, but that's rafa all season hasnt it been? Should win now, relatively comfortably. Risking injury though to some first team players.
