Remember Canizares? Missed the world cup when a shard of glass from a broken aftershave bottle severed a tendon in his foot.

Injuries happen any and everywhere. Cant avoid them so dont worry about them.
Today I'm a fan. I'm glad he fielded our best side trying to win

Lastley in growing more and more concerned by ritchie, is he just not good enough or something. at this level he puts in the effort but nothing ever comes of it

Absolutely ,he is in a no win situation , at the end of the day injuries can happen at anytime , during games, in training, a bump in a car. dropping a plate on a foot at home  , or getting whacked with a golf club by a team mate..Injuries will happen between now and the seasons end, the problem of not having decent enough replacements lands at the door of the money grabbing owner , rather than the manager
There is a much greater probability in players getting injured against other teams players in a competitive game. I wouldn't have risked playing our best players given the current squad strength and having a penny pinching owner. But today's cup win feels refreshing and a nice change.

maybe, but fa cup probably 4th on their list of priorities, so they could well field a very weakened team and then we might have a chance...as long as rafa put his best 11 out.

Even if we beat Chelsea (lol, btw) there's still a b/c string City team waiting further down the line.
