Just because a majority of fans wouldn't want sturridge here, its still a kick in the teeth that WBA are more attractive that us.
The same as what Tammy Abraham chose Swansea.

Well, Abraham's decision still baffles. Sturridge is picking a team with a longer run in the Premier League and an English manager who has likely promised him porkies. That's how he operates.

You almost couldn't make it up...

Then again, you almost certainly wouldn't have needed to...

When he is fit he can be one of the best strikers around but it really looks like he will never be reliable . Dodged the bullet with this one although i would have liked to have seen him do his celebration in a Toon top.

Does any of the remaining half a dozen England fans a favour - makes sure he isn't on the plane.

This whole situation was inevitable. We know Pardew pushes players too much anyway, and I'me pleased NUFC aren't lumbered with paying him at this stage.

Hopefully we've dodged a bullet but remember we are paying slimanis ?80k wages plus ?2m loan fee, he hasnt played a full 90 in a league game since new years day, and he's only eligble to play in 10 of the 11 remaining games, lets hope this bullet we dodged doesnt return and shoot us up the a*se.

Also scored 7 in 12 games to be fair

So even if he gets fit, he's 50/50 to even score one goal for them :)

Atleast he's not stealing taxi's...

i predicted we would beat bournemouth, uddersfield, southampton and watford.....so if he can be fit and score in those four games to keep us up then it's been a worthwhile loan signing.

5 in 645 mins (7 and a bit games) this season, 8 in 1577 mins (17.5) the one before. Apologies
